Description
To Alexander Joseph Luthor, innovation was always second nature. Lex possessed tremendous intellect and a great measure of creativity. Educators recognized Lex's gifts early on. He was fast-tracked through school, after which he spent some time jumping from university to university overseas.
Luthor arrived in Metropolis with a revolutionary idea, sought and won the financial backing of Metropolis' wealthiest investor, Sally Siegel. His idea was a form of energy that increased the signal strength and speed of mobile communications. It revolutionized personal technology and made Lex Luthor a household name.
As communications technology grew into aerospace contracts, Lexcorp was born, and Lex Luthor went from genius to billionaire businessman in less than a year. Lex allowed Sally Siegel to run the company while he remained on the forefront of technology. The jobs that spun off of Luthor's inventions made Metropolis into a financial mecca, and Lexcorp became its largest, most influential corporation. His business relationship with Sally blossomed into a marriage, but was short-lived. Sally was murdered at the hands of international terrorists. Lex reluctantly took over the operation of Lexcorp and expanded to include military contracts.
Lex had become the hero of Metropolis. His strides in the field of robotics drew the eye of the news media, and Lex developed a friendship with Clark Kent, a reporter from the Daily Planet. Yet, with few other genuine friendships, Lex became more and more consumed with pushing technology forward.
Then, in a day, his entire world changed. An alien Superman arrived in Metropolis, promising to uphold justice and defend the weak. There was a new hero in town, and Lex wasn't sure he trusted him.

Too slim. It feels more like an Iron Man suit.
